Orchids are great for terrariums. They love high humidity. They also like good air flow... so, choose a container with a large opening or no lid. Fill the bottom of the terrarium with stones or gravel; add a bit of water over the stones; and place the orchid on the them. The evaporating water will provide plenty of humidity.
